Fue un torneo irregular mejorando los bohemios ostensiblemente la performance del año anterior. En esa temporada se produce un hecho histórico para los bohemios y el fútbol uruguayo. Se jugó el primer partido por un Campeonato Uruguayo en el interior de la República . El partido se disputó el 15 de Setiembre de 1929 en la ciudad de Minas marcando la victoria bohemia por uno a cero con gol de Alvarez.

El equipo más común Ceriani, Florio o Deagustini, Tejera, Ochiussi, Carrica, Frioni, Deagustini, Conti, Borjas, Alvarez o Casanello y Figueroa.
